Thing # 21 Podcasts

This thing wins the award for being the most time consuming. There were numerous steps along the way where I stumbled and tripped. When the Photostory and Switchpod registration were finally complete I called my husband to see the masterpiece that had kept me preoccupied for the entire day. He politely told me it was nice, but I could tell he didn't "get" it. I'll admit the concept is esoteric, and it might take more than one viewing, but I think librarians will snap to it faster. Nevertheless, Steven Spielberg has nothing to worry about, I have NOT found a new calling. Please let me know if the elementary librarians are able to decipher this little show "One Fish". I really didn't want to put words on every photo, but if no one can figure it out, then I may need to go back to editing... Agrab.

It took me a long time to do my vidcast as well. I used Photostory, too, and it took forever for me to figure out where to put the music on my computer so that I could put it in the video (and I still can't take clips from the midddle of a track). I feel your pain. Now, I may have gone about it the wrong way, but I just saved the thing on my computer and uploaded it straight to my blog. Seems to work just fine. I am anxiously awaiting seeing your "masterpiece."

You crack me up. I love how honest you are. I have not gotten to the podcast yet but I'm not looking forward to it taking me even more time. And then it didn't work for you what a pain. Hang in there at least you played with it and have a much better understanding about it than you did before you started.

Alice,
I love your podcast. I thought it was very witty and I got it right away. However if I would show it to my husband he probably would not have gotten it either. This thing was not so bad for my because I had to go to training for photostory.

There you go! I liked it, and the jazzy little music in the background. Yeah, husbands might not get it, but it is very clever. Told you you'd get it uploaded. Cool.
